6 Ways to Pay Your Bill

Here are your six Cincinnati Bell Fioptics bill pay options:

1: The Good’ld Mail

This one would work for baby boomers and anyone who prefers sending a check via mail. Make sure you download a copy of your bill.  Fill the check and remittance slip and mail it to this address:

Cincinnati Bell Telephone
P.O. BOX 748003
Cincinnati, OH 45274-8003

2: Pay via Phone

Subscribers can pay their bill via phone as well. Note that since payments made via telephone require assistance, you will have to bear a $6.00 service fee.

You may call customer support anytime to inquire about your account balance and make payments over the phone. For Cincinnati Bell pay bill over phone, dial 513-565-2210 and say “Payments.” Then repeat “Pay My Bill” and a representative will get in touch with you.

Before calling, make sure you know your Cincinnati Bell account number and the credit/debit card you would like to use. The company accepts all major credit and debit cards along with electronic checks for Cincinnati Bell bill pay.

3: Set AutoPay

This option is highly recommended for those who are either too busy or always tend to forget paying their bill on time. Autopay is an automatic payment service that automatically pays your bill each month without the need for writing a check. Your account balance is paid from your checking account.

The payment is taken out from the customer’s checking account on the exact date the payment is due. Unfortunately, the Autopay feature is not available or credit card payments. Currently, all auto payments are debited to the checking account of the user.

To set the Autopay feature on your service, go to your My Cincinnati Bell account and perform the following steps:

  • Got to the Billing and Payment section
  • Turn on the AutoPay feature
  • Enter your banking information
  • And you are all set.

4: Pay Online

To pay my Cincinnati Bell bill online, you will have to sign in to My Cincinnati Bell account, of course. It’s one of the most convenient ways of paying your bill, without even moving (if you have your smartphone in your hand).

Follow these steps to pay your bill:

  • Log into My Cincinnati Bell account
  • Go to Bill pay section
  • Enter your payment information
  • Check the bill amount
  • And hit pay

Note:

Cincinnati Bell accepts all major credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Payments made via credit cards and e-checks take 2 to 3 business days before they are posted to your account.

5: In Person

Let’s say you don’t want to pay the $6.00 fee by calling the Cincinnati Bell number to pay bill. A nicer alternative for boomers is to pay their bills in person. It’s easy too.

Find your nearest Cincinnati Bell Paystation locations to do the deed. You can also bill your bill at Walmart and Kroger.

6: Pay via Chat

This is a rare bill payment option but it’s highly convenient if you are not in a mood to talk to anyone. When you are using the live chat option to your Cincinnati Bell Internet bill, you will be charged $6.00. This is again because a representative is involved.

Visit the provider’s website to click on an SSL-secured link to start a live chat session. Don’t forget to keep your payment information and account information ready to make the bill payment process swift.

Watch Out for Late Penalty

It doesn’t matter if you have subscribed to Fioptics TV Packages, phone or Internet service, your payment is due within 20 days of the bill cycle date. In case you fail to make the payment before the due date, a 2% late payment penalty will be charged on your next bill.

In order to find out more on how late payment fee is calculated, read the terms and conditions section on the provider’s website. To avoid missing the payments and keep away from late payment penalties, you can always set the Autopay feature.

Conclusion

Isn’t it great that you can pay the bill for your service in so many convenient ways? Pick whatever option you like and pay your bill the easy way.
